On July 13, 2020, the job scheduler Sun Grid Engine (SGE) on Shamu will be switched to Slurm, a new job scheduling system. Existing SGE jobs will continue to run when the engine is switched over, but new jobs will need to be submitted via the new Slurm scheduling engine.
