Computing Resources - Network
The Shamu research cluster contains four (4) types of network configurations.- External network - 10G public connection to the Internet
- Internal network - Gigabit connection to all compute nodes and storage nodes
- External network - 10G dedicated connection to the resources at UTRC and TACC
- Internal network - Mellanox Infiniband 40/56Gbps connectivity to all compute nodes and storage nodes
- External network - 10G dedicated connection to the JPL Data Center for our backups
