On July 13, 2020, the job scheduler Sun Grid Engine (SGE) on Shamu will be switched to Slurm, a new job scheduling system. Existing SGE jobs will continue to run when the engine is switched over, but new jobs will need to be submitted via the new Slurm scheduling engine.

Please review the links below. One is a direct link to the Slurm online documentation, and the other link directs you to a chart that compares existing SGE commands to the equivalent Slurm command. The third link directs you to the Slurm sample scripts and commonly used commands.
